Yes, I use the word trapped - it feels like I'm looking at an advert for the RSPCA or the ASPCA, with someone walking in to free Spyro and release him back into the world. </p><p>The statue of Spyro was discovered by Reddit user <a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/Spyro/comments/1teitm8/update_spyro_abandoned_statue/?share_id=oAzKVu-dxwX2u5Iix0-RO&utm_content=1&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_source=share&utm_term=1">Momoka Rage</a> who has taken a video of their discovery. If you can't remember the statue in its former glory, it was on show at the Spyro: Year of the Dragon booth at E3 2000. It's so strange to see it just stuck inside an abandoned building 26 years later!</p>  <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">A user by the name of Momoka-Rage on Reddit has found the old E3 2000 Spyro statue that was on display at the Spyro: Year of the Dragon booth! Momoka-Rage explains that the statue is around 12 feet long, and that it's been in the same building for years.</p><p><em>'The owner is an older guy,'</em> says Momoka-Rage, <em>'probably in his 80's. He bought the building back in 2021, and Spyro was already chilling inside. He had no clue what to do with him, so he just left him there. When we talked this morning, he actually asked if I could take him off his hands and said it’d be a huge favor! The guy had completely forgotten he even owned the building.'</em></p><p>The owner of the building simply referred to Spyro as 'that purple lizard thing', obviously not knowing that he had a piece of gaming history locked up in a disused<em> </em>building. Momoka Rage now plans to pick up Spyro today after work (May 18th if you're reading this from the future) and begin work to restore him back to his former glory!</p><p>I love finds like this - it makes you wonder how they got there in the first place though, which kind of adds to the mystery. As there are so many different combinations of codes possible, we can’t guarantee they’ll all work together as intended. In fact, we often have trouble ourselves when multiple cheats are used simultaneously, so it’s worth turning off as many as you can to use the latest one you want.</p><p>If you get stuck or the added cheats do crash or otherwise break your game, you can always go back to your save point. It’s important to remember to turn each added cheat off before saving again too, so that the chances of crashing or otherwise breaking your game by adding new code are reduced.</p><p>Do note that numerous versions of <em>Pokémon Heart and Soul</em> are available. You'll need to interact with neighbours from the local town, find a partner, decorate your farmhouse to create a nice living space, and head out into the world to find cool collectibles. </p><p>The fact that Sky Fangames is putting in minigames too really excites me. It's an alternative Pokémon adventure that I'm really looking forward to playing. This handheld was leaked due to the <a href="https://manuals.plus/m/dd53dc117b5b4d833efcfa2de54326dc1d062acf39f5e947ae940e58033c0c0b_optim.pdf?ref=retrododo.com" rel="noreferrer">user manual being digitally uploaded to manuals.plus</a> a source for finding manuals on almost any piece of technology. This was uploaded before any announcements from AYANEO themselves, so to take this with a pinch of salt.</p><p>The user manual shows the very basics, an outline of the handheld, it showcases the button layout and some very basic setup process for Android. It features a grey casing, likely taking inspiration from the original DMG, thanks to the darker grey border underneath the display, which houses a front-facing microphone.</p><p>The DPAD looks large on this smaller design, giving an indication that this is a pocket-friendly vertical that will be easily portable. On the back, it looks fairly sleek, with heat dissipation holes for the likely included fan, four shoulder buttons, a micro-SD card slot, USB-C charging, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.</p><p>If I had to guess, I can imagine this is going to be priced around the $120 mark, closely resembling the AYANEO Pocket Air that has been very popular since launch. If AYANEO prices it here, it will be a very competitive handheld in the space. We don't need the power, as it's cumbersome to emulate anything over PS1 due to the lack of sticks. I personally never got around to reviewing it, even though I have one, simply because of how busy Seb and I were at the time doing other things. Alongside my pledge to prioritise "great" products instead of "just okay" products to review.</p><p>I'll admit, I still need to review it, eventually. The Android OS can be cumbersome, especially setting up Android apps that emulate using two screens, its the case with any dual-screen Android device. It simply comes down to personal preference. Of course you have - they're the OGs, after all. </p><p>Pokémon RBY Nova has arrived from creator ZetaPheonix and brings 190 Pokémon into the fray, made up of Gen 1 Pokémon and adjacent critters from future games. Italian gamer Alex Floch has given his son an incredible gift - a custom-made Banjo-Kazooie N64 complete with BK branding and an amiibo holder. Alex's son won't have to mess around with the RF Splitter like I had to use back in the day. </p><p>The console has even attracted the attention of the game's composer Grant Kirkhope, who commented to say that he loves the design, and that if he's ever in Italy, he would put his signature on it to give it that extra Banjo touch. The father of Banjo-Kazooie Steve Mayles has also popped up to say that 'BK is gonna feel twice as good on this!'</p><p>Honestly, and I'm not just saying this because I'm Italian too, but Alex could be the greatest dad of all time. My dad made me a lot of pizzas growing up, but I would have loved it if he came home with a custom Banjo-Kazooie N64 instead. I've loved the bear and bird for as long as I can remember, and I hope that they stay a prominent part of Alex's family for years to come. But it does say that it can be bought for roughly $699AUD, which is around £375 or $499USD.</p><p>The console states that it has "sold out", but nobody has seen it in stock as of yet, making many believe that its soon to officially launch for the mentioned price. It will likely come with The Avalanches album included on a cartridge, seeing as a listing of two "<a href="https://us.theavalanchesstore.com/collections/merchandise/products/game-cartridge-bundle?ref=retrododo.com" rel="noreferrer">Game Pak Cartridges</a>" is on their website featuring their albums for $9.99. There's no more information regarding release dates, what emulator it uses, if it works with official controllers etc, so do take all of this with a pinch of salt.</p><p>It would be very unprofessional to tease a product for sale, get the community excited to then rip it from our hands just for the promotion of an album, but we've seen it happen before. Note that we couldn’t guarantee a Shiny Pokémon using the ShinyR code, but others worked in full as intended. She will give you several items to make your journey easier: a new DexNav to help you locate Pokémon, an InfiniteRepel to avoid all random Pokémon encounters, a PokéVial to heal all party Pokémon instantly and an InfiniteCandy, which you’ll find in your bag, to level up your Pokémon as much as you want. </p><p>All except the InfiniteCandy can be accessed by pressing the L button to bring up a new menu, and selecting the ‘cheat’ item you want! On this menu, you can access your PC instantly, change the time of day, set yourself to always run, or change the Pokémon you have following you too.</p><p>Standard Item Modifier cheats can be entered as normal using the cheats function on your emulator of choice. Remember to save often, and disable any cheats that you aren’t currently using when enabling another. It's a light-gun shooter that requires you to use a plastic gun to aim at enemies on different parts of the screen, ducking to reload and hide from enemies. </p><p>The gyroscopic controls will allow you to use your controller in the same vein as the original lightgun, though we're yet to discover whether you can also click the controller to hide when reloading, etc. It won't be as cool as using a lightgun, but it's the next best thing!</p><p>All of the original levels from the home version of the game return, as well as the special stages. The game arrives on PS Plus for Premium members on May 19th, 2026, with the subscription costing users £13.49/$17.99 a month.
